the peace sign originated in the 1960s as a double digit alternative to war - and for many years the v hand symbol has
been known as a sign of victory - this was frequently used by vietnam war protestors as a sort of reverse peace sign
all at once saying 'peace and fuck you' - peace on earth and fuck the war...
whether america knows it or not - america is all about this middle finger - and as I have said before -
this middle finger represents to me the rising middle finger of true deepened democracy in america and abroad -
for instance - when one actually bothers to waste one's time speaking a public hearing - one is essentially showing
their powerful rising middle finger of deepened democracy - but in an eloquently spoken fashion - and when the city
council members tell you 'your three minutes are up' - they are essentially showing you their middle fingers as well -but in a nicely spoken fashion - and when senators get up to the podium to rant and rave about an issue, they too are showing their own middle finger to the opposition - and when the US government goes off to war for oil once again -
you guessed it - and what about that popular rapper named after a little chocolate candy?...
